Vermilia comments about the video:

“Hauras, Kuollut Kaunis” was the last song I wrote for the ”Keskeneräisiä Tarinoita”. It’s written originally with the guitar only. I looked through the window and started to play around with the few chords and started to sing the melody, that’s how the song was born in its entirety. The song is a story of an abandonment, a premature departure, a disappeared love, where, however, a beautiful lives ends up next to each other and how their paths cross again.”

Vermilia premiere a new song and music video for ”Keskeneräisiä Tarinoita” (Unfinished Stories), the title track of her new EP.

Vermilia comments about the video:

“Keskeneräisiä tarinoita” was the first song I wrote after my debut album Kätkyt. This was composed over a year ago. I didn’t know how current this would be now in the year 2020.”

”I feel like this song was some kind of a prediction which feels very weird. This song is a metaphor for a total destruction of life and world. This is a song about loneliness and the end of the world. It is an abstract description of life burning around us.”

Last year, Vermilia, who released her debut album “Kätkyt”, earned much praise from the media and sparked debate in various forums.

Now, Vermilia has produced another slightly more surprising release: a cover version of “Täällä pohjantähden alla”, originally composed by Petri Laaksonen and written by Turkka Mali. Vermilia’s interpretation of “Täällä pohjantähden alla” has transformed the song in a profound way which could lead one to believe the original work to be a majestic Black Metal composition in its own right.

The cover song was released as a single release on March 1st in both digital and physical editions.
