A celebrada banda de heavy metal norte-americana acaba de confirmar um show intimista em São Paulo em 14 de dezembro, antecipando sua participação no KNOTFEST Brasil em 18 de dezembro, onde dividirá o palco com outras onze bandas.
O show no Cine Joia é uma oportunidade única para os fãs poderem conferir a banda de perto, em um show intimista diferente da apresentação que farão no KNOTFEST.
Formada por Matt Heafy (guitarra e vocais), Corey Beaulieu (guitarra e vocal de apoio), Paolo Gregoletto (baixo e vocal de apoio) e Alex Bent (bateria), o quarteto já lançou 10 álbuns de estúdio, o último, In the Court of the Dragon, eleito entre os melhores álbuns de rock/metal de 2021 pela Loudwire, que também colocou a faixa-título como uma das melhores música de metal de 2021

Um dos maiores festivais de hard rock e metal no mundo, que celebra um estilo de vida e a cultura do rock e do metal, o KNOTFEST chega ao Brasil pela primeira vez em 2022 com um line-up mais que especial. Além do headliner do festival, Slipknot, nove outras bandas estão confirmadas para se apresentar no Sambódromo do Anhembi, em 18 de dezembro do próximo ano, dividindo-se em dois grandes palcos e 12 horas de festival.
O Bring Me the Horizon, banda inglesa cuja importância cresce vertiginosamente a cada ano, já figura entre as mais importantes do gênero no mundo, e que leva o público à loucura em suas apresentações, sempre considerada uma das melhores atrações em todos os festivais mundiais dos quais participa, estará no KNOTFEST para mostrar seu som eclético, que mistura o rock pesado a ritmos como o pop, o eletrônico e o hip-hop. Além disso, a multiplatinada Sepultura, a mais famosa, consagrada e internacional banda do gênero no país, que lançou disco novo em plena pandemia, Quadra, também estará trazendo novidades para os palcos do evento, mostrando a força do metal brasileiro.
Uma novidade será o Mr Bungle, projeto de rock experimental de Mike Patton, celebrado vocalista do Faith No More, que está de volta para se apresentar no festival após quase duas décadas de hiato. E não para por aí: o quarteto americano Trivium, considerado por muitos como o sucessor do Metallica, e o metalcore dos norte-americanos do Motionless in White também irão movimentar o público. Unindo-se ao lineup internacional, estarão duas das principais bandas brasileiras do gênero atualmente: as paulistas Armored Dawn e Project46.
Para completar o elenco, representando a nova geração do metal, outra grande novidade desta edição vai ser a banda Vended, formada pelos filhos de Clown e de Corey Taylor, que já mostrou em sua estreia lotada nos EUA em março de 2020 que talento vem de berço, além de uma décima MEGA BANDA ainda a ser anunciada!
Ingressos para o festival ficarão disponíveis novamente à venda a partir do dia 19 de agosto, às 10h, em Eventim.com.br. Mais que um grande festival, o KNOTFEST é um acontecimento, um evento que celebra um estilo de vida e a cultura do rock e do metal. A música é o pulso do KNOTFEST, uma reunião das maiores e mais pesadas bandas do mundo, um fenômeno criado pela banda de metal multiplatinada Slipknot.
Lançado em 2012, o festival se estabeleceu nos Estados Unidos e se expandiu para todo o mundo, com edições no Japão, México, Colômbia e França. Agora, o festival chegará pela primeira vez ao Brasil, com a estreia do KNOTFEST no Sambódromo do Anhembi em São Paulo, no dia 18 de dezembro de 2022.
A primeira edição brasileira do festival contará com 12 horas de música, dois grandes palcos, o KNOTFEST Museum, área de food truck, área de barbecue com churrasco sendo feito na hora, Loja de Merchandising e uma Arena Radical cheia de surpresas para todos!

MEGADETH, fueled by Dave Mustaine’s triumphant return to the stage following his diagnosis and recovery of throat cancer, will finally embark on their first North American tour since 2017. Speaking on the long-awaited announcement of the rescheduled run, MEGADETH’s leader and frontman, Dave Mustaine says

LAMB OF GOD pressed ahead with the release of their crushing self-titled album, Lamb of God, which was one of the best-selling metal albums of 2020. The band now looks to take the show on the road as they return to the stage for the first time since the release of the record. Randy Blythe, inimitable frontman of LAMB OF GOD, adds
